Golden Age Senior Center:

We need volunteers to help transport senior citizens to and from The Salvation Army's Golden Age Program on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There are 8 to 10 seniors who need transportation.

The Golden Age Program occurs at The Salvation Army West Mound Worship and Service Center, 2300 W. Mound St., Columbus, 43204. Volunteers would pick up the seniors at home and drop them off at the program at 10:00 a.m. When the program concludes at 2:00 p.m. the volunteer(s) would pick up the seniors and transport them home. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and must have their driving record verified by our staff prior to participation.

We are also looking for volunteers to help with the Golden Age Program on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Volunteers would assist the staff with games, activities and refreshments.
