Choice Food Pantry

 

With the generous assistance from Columbus area grocery stores and the Mid-Ohio Food Bank, The Salvation Army provides food to families in need in Central Ohio.

The Salvation Army operates five food pantries in Central Ohio. We have upgraded all five to the Choice Pantry model, where the people we help can shop and choose their own items, receiving food based on the number of people in their families, and the recommended servings from each food group. People who shop at the Choice Food Pantry are given a three-day supply of food for the entire household every 30 days if needed.

 

Who is eligible:

Any household in Franklin County who has not been to a Salvation Army food pantry within the last 30 days.

 

How to access the program:

Appointments for the food pantry can be made by calling the HandsOn Central Ohio Food Line from a cell phone or land line at 2-1-1 and requesting an appointment at a Salvation Army food pantry.
