A Letter from the LeadershipDear Friends of The Army and community residents, The Salvation Army is a faith-based charity designed to meet For every dollar contributed, 85 cents goes directly to people, programs, and services. In 2005, the Army responded to more than 70,600 service needs and requests in Franklin County. And yet, there is still much more to be done. Our goals in Columbus include:
No doubt we face challenging days ahead. Yet, we know the sustaining power of The Salvation Army lies in faithfulness and obedience to the God-given call to serve OTHERS in His name without discrimination. With your continued commitment and support, we will make Columbus a different and better place—one life at a time, 365 days a year. We thank the people of Greater Columbus for sharing our vision and helping us to sustain our mission.
