Salvation Army opens new Family Store in Columbus on south high Nov. 3
Thrift store is bigger, well-lit, and a fun place to shop!
Columbus, Ohio Nov. 2, 2007– The Salvation Army is opening a brand new store at its new location at 1675 S. High Street in Columbus. The store, located a few blocks south of Greenlawn, features many improvements over the previous location on South Front Street. The new store is all on the first floor, and it features bright lighting and a larger retail space. (Click here for a map of the Salvation Army Family Store.)
To improve the shopping experience, the Family Store has attractive floors and well-marked departments. The store offers a wide selection of clothing, accessories, toys, books, art and housewares donated right here in Central Ohio, and the money earned through the sale of goods in the store goes to Salvation Army programming.

Date: Nov. 3
Time: 9 a.m.
The store hours will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and the hours at existing Salvation Army Thrift Stores will also be extended to match the hours of the Family Store.
