2008 Event Summary:
The 2008 was even bigger and better than 2007!
Thanks to you The Salvation Army's Need Knows No Season 2008 was a great success! Over $300,000 was raised to help people in need. Your support DOES make a difference.
Attendees enjoyed remarks from Senator John Glenn and Richard LeMieux. LeMieux is the New York Times acclaimed author of Breakfast at Sally's--his memoir recounts his descent into homeless and redemption with the help of The Salvation Army.
Last year The Salvation Army helped over 70,000 people in need through 29 programs and services. As the needs increase The Salvation Army will be there to help this community with basic needs as well as long term solutions to chronic problems such as homelessness, low literacy, and unemployment.

Richard LeMieux talks with Angela Pace as he is displayed on the large screens before an audience of more than 800 people.

2007 Event Summary:
The 2007 event was a huge success! The featured speaker was General Paul A. Rader. John Glenn and Gov. Ted Strickland also gave moving remarks as they accepted the Need Knows No Season Award. Angela Pace presided, and testimonials from people we help were featured. Need Knows No Season served as a kick-off to our highest-profile and largest fundraising effort -- the Red Kettle Campaign.
